Role Summary The school nurse provides direct medical care, handles emergencies, and manages student health records to ensure a safe learning environment.
• Provide first aid and medical care to students and staff**• Maintain student health records and medical documentation**• Monitor students with medical conditions and administer medication when required**• Respond to medical incidents and emergencies**• Conduct routine health screenings and assessments**• Communicate with parents regarding student health concerns**• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations**• Manage medical supplies and equipment**• Promote health awareness and wellbeing programs**• Assist in developing school health procedures and emergency response plans
• Licensed Registered Nurse**• Minimum 3–5 years clinical experience**• Experience in school health services or pediatric care preferred**• Knowledge of health and safety regulations**• Strong communication and organizational skills**• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
